Position: Screen Door Division Sales

Accountable to: Sales Manager

Directive: The Inside Sales Professional is responsible for delivering unparalleled customer service through inbound and outbound lead follow-up and for coordinating all sales and marketing activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails (door specific sales and dealer orders)
  • helping coordinate and execute marketing functions
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate outside sales professional for further development (for large products)
  • Close sales and achieve sales targets
  • Conduct sales in accordance to appropriate Solaris sales processes
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as communicated by the Sales Manager
  • Research accounts and identify key players to generate new sales interest
  • Maintain and expand our CRM system with qualified leads
  • Perform product demonstrations to prospective large clients
  • Requires deep and thorough understanding of the product capabilities and limitations
  • Ensure all leads, activities, and opportunities do not have any tasks past 24 hours overdue
  • Setting opportunity stages and opportunity amounts accurately
  • Building estimates accurately within Method:CRM
  • Maintains close communication with the Sales Manager to ensure sales goals are being met, and if not, determine why sales goals are not being met
  • Fills any gaps in customer service and/or showroom activity
  • Assists in building and maintaining strong long-lasting customer relationships
  • Manages accounts in a positive and healthy manner
  • Mines accounts in a positive and healthy manner
  • Ensures communications with key accounts are happening in a consistent and timely manner
  • Offers new sales idea’s, tactics, and product ideas to the Sales Manager
  • Assist sales manager as required
  • Adheres to sales promotions
  • Exhibits Trade shows
  • Responsible for working trade shows
  • Responsible for cultivating and following-up with trade show leads
  • Assists with general administration help as required throughout the organization in our shoulder season
  • Work primarily on-site and is considered an inside sales professional
  • Assist in collections of past due accounts
  • Stay up to date on industry related news, technology and trends

Hard Skills:

  • Sales experience typically has minimum of 2 years sales experience

  • Diploma or related job experience in one of the following: Sales, Marketing or Business Administration

Compensation package to start:

  • Base pay plus
  • commission* on retail**door division sales under target
  • commission* on retail**door sales that exceed sales
