The people at Solaris want to wish all of you a very good Thanksgiving. Regardless of your own traditions and approach to Thanksgiving, we hope that you are able to take some time to be thankful for all that you have, as we pause and give thanks as well.
Of course, as we look to give thanks, we can also acknowledge that there are things in life we are not thankful for: the trials and tribulations that come our way. We all experience them. Yet, it is the thanks given from places of hardship that are more empowering. It’s easy to be thankful when things are going well. When things are tough, it’s harder to shift into a place of gratitude. The payoff for making that shift is significant. Discovering gratitude in the midst of difficulty helps propel us through that difficulty. Experiencing gratitude lifts us up. It helps us focus on moving towards solutions.
We, at Solaris, hope that all is well for you and that this Thanksgiving weekend is a joyous time for you. And, if you are experiencing hardship, we hope that you can find a time and place to experience gratitude for what you do have. And from that place, we believe you will be better positioned to move through your hardship, eventually arriving to a time of ease and pleasure.
